I-84, Caldwell to Meridian Corridor


Project Facts

Interstate 84 provides a vital link between Canyon County and Ada County for both commuters and freight, and carries the highest volume of traffic in the region. The corridor from west of Caldwell to east of Meridian is experiencing pressure from rapid growth west of Boise. The GARVEE-funded projects in the corridor will improve the roadway, add capacity and safely accommodate projected traffic volumes.


Work on the corridor is divided into the following projects:

I-84, Karcher Interchange to Five Mile Environmental Study
I-84, Franklin Blvd. Interchange Bridge, Nampa
I-84, Franklin Blvd. Interchange to 11th Avenue
I-84, 11th Avenue Bridge
I-84, Garrity Interchange Bridge
I-84, Garrity Interchange to Meridian Interchange
I-84, Robinson Boulevard and Black Cat Road Bridges
I-84, Ten Mile Road Interchange
I-84, Eagle Road Westbound Off-ramp
